Az épület leírása:
Több szempontból is szerencsésnek, sőt ideálisnak mondható körülmények adottak ennek a háznak a tervezésekor. Az építtetőt már régóta ismertem, baráti viszony volt köztünk, ami nagyban segített a ház testre szabásában. Az építtetői igények felvázolása után volt némi elképzelés az építtető részéről, hogy hogyan nézzen ki az épület. – Tegyünk rá valami csapott tetőt, amit beépítenénk… – Szerencsére nem volt olyan erős ez a kép, ezért sikerült meggyőznöm, hogy szabad kezet kaphassak a tervezésben, ami a mai viszonyokat ismerve ritkaság. Ez a döntéseimet kikérő, és teljességgel elfogadó hozzáállás innentől kezdve végigkísérte az egész építkezést, amiért külön hálás vagyok.
Nézzük tehát a feladatot. Adva van egy az 1968. évben épült kis présház a maga lepketetős, kő architektúrás kis kubusával. A telek a mecseki szőlőhegyek felparcellázása során alakult ki, viszonylag nagy méretű. Északi fekvésű, ami első hallásra nem pozitív, de a telek panorámája magával ragadó. Én, amikor először voltam a helyszínen, még az érintetlen présház volt a hozzátartozó eszközökkel és berendezési tárgyakkal. Az épület a környezettel és a panorámával egy tökéletes egységet alkot, olyan borozgatós beszélgetős nyugalmat.
Adva volt egy fiatalember, aki szeretett volna magának egy legénylakást. A lakásnak tudnia kellett kiszolgálni a lakóját, ha egyedül van és szeretne visszavonulni, ha a hétvégén a lányai meglátogatják a megnőtt férőhelyek biztosítását, és ha reprezentálni kell, akkor minden áll leessen.
A meglévő épületbe helyeztem a nappali funkciókat. A válaszfalak kibontása után egy légtér lett, ahová került a konyha az étkező és a nappali. A régi pincelejárót egy kiegyensúlyozott csapóajtóval fedtem le, ami csukott állapotban járófelület. A háló funkciókat egy az épületre merőlegesen 2/3 szinttel magasabbra helyezett hasonló kubusba helyeztem. A két egységet két szint magas üvegezett nyagtag köti össze. Ebbe a nyagtagba vezet át a hálószintről induló áttört vas híd, ami a régi épületrész tetején kialakított teraszra vezet. Az épület főbejárata és a telek felöli terasz, kert kapcsolat is a középső egységben van. Az alapötlet a meglévő építészeti érték megőrzése és továbbgondolása és a környezet adottságainak kihasználása. Ha úgy vesszük, minden szabályt felrúgtunk. Nincs magastető, nincs homlokzati kváderezés, nincs szélfogó, nincs szélrács az amúgy is vékony oszlopok között, és még sorolhatnám, de az ember, aki beköltözött azt kapta, amit szeretett volna. Szeret az épületben lakni.

Karvalydűlő (Sparrow-hawk field)
In the course of this house planning conditions said lucky, moreover ideal were given from several points of view. I have known long ago the client and friendly connection was between us, which has helped significantly to make to measure the house. After outlining the client’s claims there was some conception from the client’s side that how must be the building appearance. – Put on some sloping roof, which will be built in after… – Fortunately this wasn’t so strong image, therefore I have managed to convict him that I could receive free hand in the planning, which is rarity knowing the present conditions. My decisions asking and the client’s entirely accepting attitude has been accompanied the whole building process, for what I am specially grateful. Thus see the task. It is given a little pressing house built in 1968 with its butterfly roofed, little cube of stone architecture. The pot was formed in the course of parcelling out of the vineyards and it is a spot of relatively great size, with facing north which isn’t positive at the first hearing, but its panorama is fascinating. When I was firstly at the spot there was an intact pressing house with its instruments and furnishings. The building created complete unity with the environment and panorama, with a certain wine-drinking, talking calmness. There was given a young man who would like to have a bachelor’s flat. It was necessary that the flat be capable of serving its inhabitant if he is alone and would like to retire, and in the weekend when his daughters will visiting him be capable to ensure plus rooms and if it is necessary to represent then everybody be astonished.
I have placed the daily functions in the existing building. After the demolition of partition walls there have been one air space to where the kitchen, the eating place and the sitting-room has been placed. I have covered the old cellar way with a balanced trap-door which in closed state is forming a walking surface. The sleeping functions were placed in a similar cube, at right angels to the building in higher position with 2/3 levels. The two units are joined with a glassed intermediate part of two level height. A pierced iron bridge is leading through into this material which is leading to the terrace formed on the top of the old building part. The main entrance of the building and the terrace from the plot, the garden connection are in the central unit.
The basic idea was the preservation of the existing building values and its further development and utilization of the environment conditions. We can say that we have disregarded the all regulations. There aren’t high roof, frontal ashlar facing, wind-break, wind tie between the thin columns and I could enumerate further, but the man who there have moved he has received what he wanted. He likes to live in this building.

Karvalydulo (chemin de terre d’Epervier)
On peut dire qu’au cours du projet de cette maison les conditions étaient propices, bien plus idéales. Je connaissais le maître de l’ouvrage depuis longtemps, il y avait des relations amicales entre nous, ce qui a donné une grande assistance a la personnalisation de la maison. Apres avoir esquissé les exigences du maître de l’ouvrage il y avait certain idée de son côté, que quel soit l’apparence du bâtiment. – Mettons sur la maison quelque chose de toit en pente, lequel peut etre bâti… – Heureusement ce n’était pas un image si forte, c’est pourquoi j’ai réussi le convaincre pour que je reçoive plein pouvoir dans le projet, lequel est tres rare en connaissant les condition actuelles. Cette position qui a demandé mes décisions et son attitude qui les accepte totalement accompagnait toute la construction, pour laquelle je suis particulierement reconnaissant. Regardons donc le devoir. Il a été donné un petit cellier avec pressoir bâti en 1968 avec son petit cube de toit de papillon et architecture en pierre. Le lot de terrain a été formé au cours de la parcellisation des coteaux planté de vignes, et sa mesure est relativement grande. Il est exposé au Nord, ce qui a la premiere écoute n’était pas positive, mais le panorama du lot était entraînant. Quand j’était premiere fois au site, la était encore le petit cellier avec pressoir intact avec les y appartenant instruments et les objets d’ameublement. Le bâtiment constitue une unité parfaite avec le milieu et le panorama, c’était une certaine calme de trinquant, bavardant.
Il a été donné un jeune homme, qui voudrait pour soi-meme une garçonniere. Il fallait que l’appartement serve son habitant quand il est seule et voudrait se retirer, mais assure des places couchées quand ses filles le visitent a la fin de la semaine, et s’il faut représenter tout le monde l’étonne.
J’ai mis les fonctions de jour dans le bâtiment existant. Apres avoir percé les cloisons un cube d’air s’est formé ou la cuisine et la salle de séjour ont été placées. J’ai recouvert l’escalier de cave avec une porte battante équilibrée, laquelle en état fermé est une surface de marche. J’ai mis les fonctions de coucher dans un cube pareil plus haut avec 2/3 étage perpendiculairement au bâtiment. Les deux unités sont reliées avec une partie intermédiaire vitrée de deux étages hauteur. L’entrée principale et la terrasse du côté du lot, et la connexion de jardin aussi sont dans l’unité centrale.
L’idée de départ était la préservation des valeurs architecturales existantes et sa réflexion suivante ainsi que l’utilisation les données du milieu. Si nous prenons la situation comme elle est, nous avons violé tous les reglements. II n’y a pas ni toit haut, ni construction en pierre de taille frontale, ni abat-vent, ni contreventement entre les colonnes minces, et je pourrais énumérer encore, mais l’homme qui a y emménagé il l’a reçu ce qu’il voudrait. Il aime habiter dans ce bâtiment.
